From full wall cladding in your shower area to smaller splashbacks behind the vanity unit or in your kitchen, Love Lane glass splashbacks really prove their worth. We recommend you use the glass wherever you would normally put tiles and you can have it on top of your vanity units too! You can have any shape, size and colour you desire. You may want a full kitchen wrap or just a hob splashback and upstands. Whichever application you choose it will give you the most hygienic, easy to clean surface.

Glass is very practical for your home, not forgetting the reflective properties you get with this sleek shiny surface which bounces the light around the room making it perfect for smaller rooms. Your glass will also reflect and bounce light around so is especially welcomed in dark or north facing rooms. It also gives another reflective dimension giving the illusion that the room is larger than it actually is and adds a clean, elegant finish that every home deserves.

The Process

FREE CONSULTATION: Love Lane Interiors will measure your area and leave you with a Free No Obligation Quotation. They can also help choose your colour by bringing samples of our coloured glass along. Some customers know what colour they require however you can have a few weeks to decide whilst your glass is being processed.

TEMPLATING: The templating process is the most important part of the process. A template of the area will be made making sure that all cut outs for holes, sockets and switches are accounted for. You may even want the glass to curve under the shape of your kitchen extractor fan, just let them know and they will work around your requirements!

MANUFACTURE: Your glass will be cut as per the templating made using specialist machinery. Once the glass is cut to your template it will then be toughened. All glass is stamped to BS 6206 standard with polished edges for your safety. Once the glass has been toughened it can then be painted to a colour of your choice.

INSTALLATION: Your Love Lane Splashbacks will be ready for installation in about 10 – 15 working days. The lead time can be less if your glass Splashbacks are square and have no cut outs – we will advise of this at the templating process. The glass will be fixed to the wall using a low modular silicone. The moisture proof layer of paint on the back of the glass is always positioned to the inside which protects it from damage and ensures the colour and appearance is maintained.
